HTML5 Application Developer
I can develop anything from Magento applications and HTML5 canvas applications, right through to backend KPI systems and multi-lingual content management systems. I have an interest in responsive web design and HTML5 mobile app development.
This site was developed using Pimcore, an absolutely awesome Content Management framework. My company, Textmimedia are UK official professional partners of Pimcore and we are leading experts in its development. I have developed many in house plugins for pimcore, which we use for many tasks such as asset and document management, as well as the Textmimedia Website
Mobile App Development
Mobile app development today is all about integration of as many platform independant technologies as possible. That's why I took to learning how to use Phonegap / Cordova, including plugin development for IOS.
I also have in depth knowledge of the major JS libraies based on Ext 3/4, known as Sencha Touch 1.1 and Sencha Touch 2. Using a combination of Sencha and Cordova I have managed the development of a mobile application platform, which uses a content management system to push dynamic content to native mobile apps.

Bespoke Development
I like developing things from scratch when I can. It took me a few years to get into CMS's and frameworks, although I now embrace them...as minimalistically as possible. If your looking for someone to develop a library or some sorts in Java, PHP (Zend or non Zend), Javascript (jQuery etc), then I'd love to hear from you. Or if you are developing your own and are a little stuck, take a look at code.reload.

Hi, I'm Paul, a freelance technical consultant based in Manchester. I studied an MSc in Software Engineering @ University of Manchester a few years back, and continue to work on developing technologies including cutting edge frameworks such as Sencha Touch, Pimcore, Magento & Junaio.
